Hard Sad Day

Well today our office stood by as one of our officers passed away. Scott Hathcock is one of the greatest people I have ever met. He was amazing at his jobs, as an officer, church leader, friend, father, and husband. It didn't matter who you were, Scott made you feel welcome and comfortable. It hit home hard today when news came ringing threw our office that one of our officers was down. We all stood by counting the minutes hoping for a report that life flight would take off and he would be stable. That call never came. It made me stop and think just how fragile life really is. Scott, thank you for your lessons, friendship, and love that you showed everyone. You knew your job better than anyone. You were an amazing friend and we will all miss you very much. May your family find comfort in knowing you had completed your work here on earth and have moved on to the highest status in the worlds to come. We love and miss you Scotty. You will forever be in our hearts.
